On May 5^th, 2010, UC Investments Group was awarded a contract with Macomb County Michigan to acquire and redevelop houses under the federally funded Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP). The contract requires us to acquire, redevelop and sell the houses to low income individuals who meet certain income restrictions dictated by the program. All funds related to the initial houses must be committed by September 25, 2010 and the work completed by March 25, 2013. The Company is responsible for prequalifying the buyers which includes ensuring that they meet the income qualifications and that they have completed at least eight hours of homebuyer counseling from a HUD approved housing counseling agency.
